Experience Flight in a Legendary Fighter Jet Training Aircraft!
Originally designed as a glider, & later redesigned, improved, and manufactured in France as the World's first large production Advanced Jet Fighter Training Aircraft, the Fouga Magister went on to fly with numerous Air Forces throughout the world. The Fouga served with distinction in combat and in many different training roles. However, the CM-170 was made famous by the Patrouille de France (La PAF), and was better known as France's preferred Air Force demonstration team aircraft. The Magister (or "School House Master" in its Latin to English translation) was flown by: Patrouille de France (PAF), the Irish Air Corps Silver Swallows, Belgium's Red Devils, Brazil's Esquadrilha da Fumaça, and Isreal's Aerobatic Demo Team for several decades and as recent as July 2010. The CM-170 was eventually replaced with the Dassault-Breguet/Dornier Alpha Jet in 1981 by the Patrouille de France. But to this day, the Fouga Magister holds a special place of distinction throughout the world for its aviation historical value, and for being instrumental in the training of so many fighter pilots around the world.
